Max. size:  12.2 cm SL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  demersal; freshwater, non-migratory
Distribution:  Oceania: endemic to New Zealand.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Inhabit ephemeral areas that dry out over summer and autumn months, where they aestivate in damp areas or under tree roots and logs (Ref. 43717).
