Biology: |
Found in large rivers as well as smaller streams during periods of high turbidity. Omnivorous species, feeding mainly on insects, as well as shrimps, submerged aquatic vegetation and inundated land vegetation. Probably taken by seines, gillnets and traps (Ref. 12693). |
