Diagnosis:  This species is distinguished by the following characters: with a series of narrow vertical bars, usually one-scale wide, and a small caudal peduncle spot surrounded by a light clear area at the base of the middle caudal-fin rays; lateral line scales 33-35; circumpeduncular scales 12 (Ref. 131238).
