Diagnosis:  This species is characterized by the following: saddles on the back of the body 8-10; blotches on flank 9-10; branched dorsal-fin rays 8 or 8½ or 9; presence of a filamentous extension of the posterior branch of the second branched pectoral-fin ray; branched caudal-fin rays 7 + 8 (Ref. 132199).
