Environment:  demersal; freshwater
Distribution:  North America: Alamito Creek, Big Bend in Texas, USA and from Lerma River basin, Mexico.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Inhabits rocky runs and riffles of creeks and small to medium rivers. Often found near boulders in swift water.
