Environment:  reef-associated; marine; depth range - 12 m
Distribution:  Western Indian Ocean: known only from the central and southern portions of the Red Sea.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Found in aggregations above outer reef slopes. Feeds on zooplankton.
