This species is distinguished by the following characters: dorsal fin rays 20-24; pectoral fin rays 10-14; body rings 14-17 + 29-32 (total 44-49); subdorsal rings 5.5-7 total; snout length 2.6-2.9 in head length, its depth 6.1-7.0 in snout length; long postorbital dermal flap, longer than eye diameter (Ref. 75989). |
