Dorsal spines (total): 0-0; Dorsal soft rays (total): 38-51; Anal spines: 0-0; Anal soft rays: 37-39. Body elongated and slender. Superior profile of the head with a depression above the eyes. Upper border of the opercular membrane inclined, descending from its origin, moving away from lateral line. Ocular diameter relatively large. Lateral line with 123-126 oblique rows of scales. First gill arch with 12-17 gill rakers (Ref. 50605). |
