Max. size:  19 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  bathydemersal; freshwater; depth range 2 - 830 m
Distribution:  Asia: Endemic to Lake Baikal, Russia.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  A common sculpin of Lake Baikal which is known to occur over a silty bottom. Spawns in January and February (Ref. 26334).
IUCN Red List Status: Least Concern (LC); Date assessed: 25 June 2020 Ref. (130435)
Threat to humans:  harmless
