Family:  Gobiesocidae (Clingfishes and singleslits), subfamily: Lepadogastrinae
Max. size:  7.802 cm TL (male/unsexed); 7.212 cm TL (female)
Environment:  demersal; marine; depth range 1 - 5 m
Distribution:  Eastern Atlantic: known as far north as the extreme north-west of Galiza, south to north-west Africa, the Canary islands and Madeira islands and also the Mediterranean.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Intertidal species (Ref. 27000). In one study, specimens were observed between 0.4 m and 2.2-m, with 75% of specimens found between 0.7 and 1.2 m (Ref. 138341).
