| Diagnosis: | Dorsal spines (total): 2-2. Firm head not inflated. Sensory canals on head without enlarged pores. Dorsally scaleless posteriorly onto forehead as 2 projections lateral to median rostral ridge. Suborbital and nasal ridges distinct. Short barbel, about 9% of head length (HL); long upper jaw, 40% HL or more; orbit 27% HL, with snout equal to the orbit, 1.2 times longer than the interorbital. 1D II,11 (Ref. 11651). | |||
