Environment:  demersal; marine; depth range 46 - 55 m
Distribution:  Western Pacific: known only from one species taken from off Halmahera Islands in Indonesia.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 12-11; Dorsal soft rays (total): 9-9; Anal spines: 1-1; Anal soft rays: 9-9. Head bones, especially infraorbital series, strongly sculptured (Ref. 39602).
