Environment:  reef-associated; marine; depth range 0 - 132 m
Distribution:  Indo-Pacific: Red Sea and the Persian Gulf to Japan and Australia.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Nocturnal species which occurs in inshore waters of the continental shelf (Ref. 75154).
