Description: Characterized by having mainly dark brown to greyish color; pectoral, soft dorsal, caudal and anal fins with pale band; brownish inner surface of pectoral fin with small dark spots and broad, whitish band across middle of fin; first three dorsal spines broadly connected with membrane, remaining spines with membrane only on basal half; lower two pectoral rays free of membrane; absence of scale; eyes slightly elevated; short snout; depth of body about 3.5-3.6 in SL (Ref. 90102). | |||
