Distribution:  Asia: Mekong River basin in Laos and Yunnan, China
Diagnosis:  Dorsal soft rays (total): 11-11; Anal soft rays: 7-7. Pelvic fin contiguous, distance between bases of last pelvic rays 7.5-11.5 times in body width at pelvic origin (Ref. 43281).
Biology:  Found in rapids and fast flowing water, under large stones (Ref. 43281).
