Description: Characterized by generally whitish color; dusky grey head with irregular white blotches and pepper-like spotting on back; head length about 13 in TL; body depth about 48-55 in TL; tail 1.3-1.4 in head and trunk; low and inconspicuous dorsal and anal fins; no pectoral fins; origin of dorsal fin behind anal origin; pointed snout, projecting well beyond lower jaw; short tube anterior nostril at edge of upper lip; posterior nostril below eye; uniserial jaw teeth (Ref. 90102). |
Found in sand bottoms (Ref 90102). |
