Environment:  demersal; marine; depth range 0 - 180 m
Distribution:  Southern Ocean: Crozet and Kerguelen Islands.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 3-4; Dorsal soft rays (total): 23-24; Anal soft rays: 17-19; Vertebrae: 35-37
Biology:  Depth range: 80-180 m (Ref. 5191). Feed on small crustaceans and common in littoral of all sub-Antarctic islands (Ref. 42041).
