Max. size:  7.2 cm SL (male/unsexed); 6.8 cm SL (female)
Environment:  benthopelagic; freshwater, non-migratory
Distribution:  Africa: only known from Lake Kachira, Uganda (Ref. 52362).
Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 15-15; Dorsal soft rays (total): 9-10; Anal spines: 3-3; Anal soft rays: 9-10. A small cichlid with concave profile and bottle-neck-like snout.
