Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 15-15; Dorsal soft rays (total): 9-10; Anal spines: 3-3; Anal soft rays: 8-9. Longitudinal scale count 31-32; end of upper lateral line being separated from base of dorsal fin by 1-1 1/2 scales; caudal peduncle length 15.5-16.7% SL; outer-row teeth in lower jaw 29-37 (Ref. 52072).
