Max. size:  11.2 cm SL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  reef-associated; marine; depth range 2 - 10 m
Distribution:  Indo-West Pacific: Ranges from Bali and Sumatra in Indonesia to India.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Found solitary or in small groups on coastal reefs mixed sandy and rocky bottoms at 2-10 m (Ref. 90102).
IUCN Red List Status: Least Concern (LC); Date assessed: 25 March 2009 Ref. (130435)
Threat to humans:  harmless
