Family:  Labridae (Wrasses), subfamily: Corinae
Max. size:  12.1 cm SL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  reef-associated; marine; depth range 9 - 10 m
Distribution:  Western Indian Ocean: Arabian Sea, Oman.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Solitary, ranges over a wide area, stopping briefly every 2 to 3 meters to pick food from the reef substrate.
