Max. size:  18 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  demersal; marine; depth range 80 - 93 m
Distribution:  Western Pacific: eastern Queensland (Ref. 9824) and northwestern Australia, and Papua New Guinea (Ref. 6771).
Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 0-0; Dorsal soft rays (total): 88-91; Anal spines: 0-0; Anal soft rays: 72-76. Maximum total length 18 cm (Ref 42535).
Biology:  Feeds on benthic animals.
IUCN Red List Status: Least Concern (LC); Date assessed: 05 March 2015 Ref. (130435)
Threat to humans:  harmless
