Distribution:  Asia: Sikkim and Nepal Himalayas through Kumaon and Garhwal to Yumana basin in Himachal Pradesh, India.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Inhabits pool and run areas of mountain streams (Ref. 12045). Collected in a large river with high, turbid monsoon flow and with diverse substrate consisting of sand, mud, gravel, pebble, cobble, and boulders (Ref. 85713).
