Diagnosis: |
Dorsal spines (total): 9-9; Dorsal soft rays (total): 10-10; Anal spines: 3-3; Anal soft rays: 7-7. Body with silvery-gold sheen. Supraneural bones 2. Short caudal fin, mean 34% of SL. Posterior margin of caudal fin lobes somewhat pointed. Pelvic fin with the first few tips of its rays hyaline posteriorly (Ref. 39283). |
