Diagnosis:  This species is distinguished from its congeners by the following set of characters: smooth snout; presence of black spot at upper angle of gill opening; posteriorly positioned anus; lesse circumpeduncular scales; long snout length; absence of W shaped black band on caudal fin; long disc length; wide pulvinus; chest scaled (Ref. 137799).
