Family:  Cyprinidae (Minnows or carps), subfamily: Labeoninae
Max. size:  4.45 cm SL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  benthopelagic; freshwater
Distribution:  Asia: Myanmar
Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 0-0; Dorsal soft rays (total): 10-10; Anal spines: 0-0; Anal soft rays: 7-7; Vertebrae: 24-25. A small specie of Garra with rounded snout, rostral lobes present, proboscis absent, tubercles on rostral lobe, scaled predorsal region, chest and abdomen, two pairs of barbels, lateral line scales 29, circumpeduncular scale rows 16.
Biology:  This fish could be an aquarium fish (Fang, 2004, pers. comm.)
