Biology: |
Prefers grassy bays, canals and nearby fresh water, avoiding tidal flats. Also found in marginal fresh waters. 18 cm max TL (Ref. 7251). Not a seasonal killifish. Is difficult to maintain in aquarium (Ref. 27139). Feeds on small crustaceans and other invertebrates (Ref. 26938). |
