Dorsal spines (total): 6-7; Dorsal soft rays (total): 9-12; Anal spines: 0-0; Anal soft rays: 9-11. Head and body covered with numerous bony tubercles; first dorsal fin very low, covered with thick skin, but tips of rays projecting above a row of small bony tubercles (Ref. 559). |
