This species is distinguished by the following set of characters: total vertebrae 141-143; D CXXIV- CXXVIII (=124-128), 11-14; A I,102-103; caudal-fin rays 9-10; no pelvic-fin; a dark band on posterior of orbit; pectoral-fin length 36.1-39.5% of head length; parhypural without a small spine ventrally (Ref. 91689). | |||
