Distribution:  Africa: lower Congo (Ref. 41591) up to the Luvua (Ref. 45485) in the upper Congo River basin, in Democratic Republic of the Congo and Republic of Congo. Reports from the Sanaga (Ref. 83890) and "coastal basins of Cameroon" (Ref. 42910) unconfirmed in Ref. 81639. Report from the Lindi (Ref. 42183) unconfirmed in Ref. 106290. Report from Lake Upemba (Ref. 45616) unconfirmed in Ref. 2970.
