Environment:  benthopelagic; freshwater
Distribution:  Africa: rivers Ubangi (Ref. 45441) and Uele (Ref. 42480)(middle Congo River basin) in Democratic Republic of the Congo. Also reported from Kananga (=Luluabourg) (Kasai drainage)(Ref. 41591).
Diagnosis:  Description: Lateral line scales 28 (Ref. 122753).
