Environment:  demersal; marine; depth range 15 - 59 m
Distribution:  Southwest Pacific: Raoul Island (Kermadec Islands) and Norfolk Island.
Diagnosis:  Short pectorial fin on the ocular side, caudal fin without markings, gill rakers without serrations and teeth on upper jaw biserial (Ref. 10875).
Biology:
