Max. size:  10 cm SL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  benthopelagic; freshwater
Distribution:  South America: Cuyuni River basin of eastern Venezuela, Atlantic drainages of Guyana, Suriname, French Guiana, and Cupixi River of Amapa, Brazil.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Usually occurs over sand or mud, in areas with slow moving current. Feeds on detritus (Ref. 12225).
