Diagnosis: |
Dorsal soft rays (total): 16-19. Coloration in males differ from females. Anterior part of second pharyngobranchial strongly curved laterally; narrow posterior arm of parasphenoid. Anal-fin base scaled. Anteriormost dentary teeth strongly bowed. Rounded caudal and pectoral fins. Number of dorsal-fin rays in males, 17-19; females, 16-17; caudal-fin rays 30-31. Snout gently pointed with lower jaw not elongated. Supraorbital neuromasts 26-29 (Ref. 40938). |
