Environment:  demersal; marine; depth range 46 - 350 m
Distribution:  Eastern Pacific: southeast Bering Sea to Eureka, northern California, USA.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 60-69; Dorsal soft rays (total): 0-0; Anal spines: 3-3; Anal soft rays: 45-49. Caudal rounded.
Biology:  Apparently lives partly buried in mud bottoms (Ref. 2850, 4925).
