Environment:  demersal; marine; depth range 1 - 18 m
Distribution:  Eastern Indian Ocean: southern Victoria and Tasmania, Australia.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 0-0; Dorsal soft rays (total): 36-38; Anal spines: 0-0; Anal soft rays: 36-37. Sandy color dorsally, pale in color ventrally; matches sand types in color and pattern (Ref. 9002).
Biology:  Inhabits shallow quiet waters in light-colored sand (Ref. 9002). Minimum depth from Ref. 58018.
