Environment:  benthopelagic; freshwater; depth range 10 - 100 m
Distribution:  Europe: Lake Brienz, Swtizerland.
Diagnosis:  It is a medium-sized whitefish with moderate pigmentation on its fins and body. The flanks above the lateral line exhibit a light to dark greenish-blue coloration, complemented by moderate to numerous small pigmented dots on the scales along the flanks and dorsum. It is deep-bodied, a stout caudal peduncle, a short head, moderately large eyes, and a moderately thick, triangular-shaped eye socket.
