Dorsal spines (total): 10-10; Dorsal soft rays (total): 13-13; Anal spines: 3-3; Anal soft rays: 7-7. Description: Characterized by white color with large orange-brown to reddish brown blotches; eye surrounded by short brownish bands; median fins with reddish brown spots; presence of palatine teeth; coarsely serrate posterior margin of opercle; greatest depth of body 2.8-3.1 in SL; relatively elongate snout, 2.5-3.0 in head length (Ref. 90102). |
