Environment:  benthopelagic; freshwater
Distribution:  Asia: Beysehir Lake, Turkey.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal soft rays (total): 13-13; Anal soft rays: 13-15; Vertebrae: 45-46. Body considerably compressed; mouth cleft almost straight; lower jaw with a well developed corneous layer; dorsal fin rays iv, 9; anal fin rays iii-iv, (9)10(11); scales with undulate posterior margin.
