Family:  Pomacanthidae (Angelfishes)
Max. size:  6 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  reef-associated; marine; depth range 15 - 40 m, non-migratory
Distribution:  Southeast Atlantic: endemic to the Ascension Island.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  The habitat of this species consists of rock and rubble at depths of from 15 m to at least 40 m. Has been reared in captivity (Ref. 35409).
IUCN Red List Status: Least Concern (LC); Date assessed: 08 October 2009 Ref. (130435)
Threat to humans:  harmless
