Dorsal spines (total): 0-0; Dorsal soft rays (total): 55; Anal spines: 0-0; Anal soft rays: 46-48. Dorsal and anal fins extending to about halfway along caudal; caudal fin narrow, truncate; middle rays of pectorals short, lower rays much exserted; pelvic fins modified a adhesive disc with a thickened margin, small slightly wider than long (Ref. 6885). Creamy white to pale pink, sometimes pale brown dorsally; dusky on fins; silvery on lower half of blue eyes (Ref. 6885). |
