Family:  Latilidae (Deepwater tilefishes)
Max. size:  24 cm SL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  benthopelagic; marine; depth range 50 - 70 m
Distribution:  Indo-West Pacific: known only from the holotype. From southwest Sumatra to Bali Strait, Indonesia. Probably more widely distributed in the eastern Indian Ocean.
