Vertebrae: 129-129. Tail 45% and head 11.5% of TL; dorsal-fin origin well behind pectoral tips; pectoral fin spatulate, moderately elongate; snout short, center of eye in anterior 40% of upper jaw; cirri of labial fringe slender, elongate and unbranched; interorbital space and top of head flat, eyes not elevated; head pores small bust mostly visible; teeth conical; preserved specimen pale ventrally, slightly darker dorsally, fins unpigmented except dorsal with a thin dark margin (Ref. 42180). |
