Dorsal soft rays (total): 8-9; Anal soft rays: 8-8; Vertebrae: 28-29. Usually with 5-6 branched dorsal rays; 7-8 pectoral rays; 6 pelvic rays; 22-23 lateral row scales and 0+3 gill rakers on first gill arch; 3 dark spots about the size of the pupil, one at mid-height of flank slightly before pelvic origin, one at base of posterior anal rays and one at middle of caudal base. |
