| Diagnosis: | Dorsal spines (total): 0-0; Dorsal soft rays (total): 12-13; Anal spines: 0-0; Anal soft rays: 12-14. Body grey to brown in color; head dark (Ref. 5320). | |||
| Biology: | Benthic at 692-1420 m (Ref. 58302). Adults bathybenthic on continental slope and rise at temperatures generally warmer than 4°C while larvae are pelagic near the surface. Feeds on mysids and decapods. Synchronously hermaphroditic (Ref. 3590). Minimum depth from Ref. 58018. | |||
