Environment:  benthopelagic; marine; depth range 60 - 110 m
Distribution:  Western Pacific: northwestern and northern coast of Australia and southern Papua New Guinea.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 11-11; Dorsal soft rays (total): 29-32; Anal spines: 2-2; Anal soft rays: 7-7
Biology:  Occurs in the continental shelf (Ref. 9772).
