Family:  Nothobranchiidae (African rivulines)
Max. size:  4.5 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  benthopelagic; freshwater; pH range: 6 - 6.5, non-migratory
Distribution:  Africa: Mossendjo-Komono area, Louesse, southwestern Congo.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Occurs in brooks and small streams in the mountainous rainforest (Ref. 3788). Not a seasonal killifish. Is difficult to maintain in aquarium (Ref. 27139).
