Occurs in quiet parts of brooks and small streams in the coastal rainforest on tertiary and quaternary sedimentary soil (Ref. 3788). Not a seasonal killifish; difficult to maintain in aquarium (Ref. 27139). Occurs near coast and not for inland; prefers clearer and more active water on fine substratum (Ref. 84174). |
