Environment:  benthopelagic; freshwater; pH range: 6
Distribution:  Africa: endemic to Cameroon and presently known from several places along the road between Kopongo/Somakek and Bonepoupa (Ref. 76820).
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  The type locality of this species is a small river in the forest with a maximal depth of approximately 0.2 m and up to 3 m wide, with bottom consisting of sand and gravel and lacking aquatic plants (Ref. 76820).
