Environment:  bathydemersal; marine; depth range 855 - 855 m
Distribution:  Northwest Pacific: Japan, Sagami Bay.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal soft rays (total): 101; Anal soft rays: 88; Vertebrae: 110-110. Pectoral fin absent. Pelvic fin absent. Fused right and left gill membranes fused, forming dermal fold across isthmus; dorsal fin without notch near its tail end; eyes located close to each other; convex interorbital space; no palatine teeth.
Biology:  Lives in the colonies of a tube worm, Alaysia sp and deep sea bivalve, Bathymodiolus sp. (Ref. 132252).
